In the last couple years they have greatly raisedDec 10 2006PreMed and Medical
In the last couple years they have greatly raised their standards due to higher application volume and the goal of the school to gain higher status. Still initial undergrad is not too tough to get in, maintain a descent 3.0-3.5 and your good, also descent SAT scores would help as well.

It isn't incredibly difficult to get in - assuming you're in the top 25% or so of your class and have a 24+ ACT, you should get accepted.
If you want Honors status, as you should because we get priority scheduling which is quite useful, be in the top 10% and have a 30 ACT. If you don't qualify, apply anyways. I was top 13% but got into the Honors program regardless.
I skated through highschoolFeb 28 2005Business - Management and Administration
I skated through highschool... doing just enough to get into either OSU or OU... I had no intentions of paying out-of-state tuition. There has been some talk about how they're making it harder to get in however, so it would of your best interest to get a decent GPA and to not get wasted the night before your SAT or ACT exam.

It's good to get involved with things related toAug 09 2004Unknown
It's good to get involved with things related to your major. I'll probably do that this coming quarter since I just switched my major. I was involved in crew club but it required too much time and money for me to afford. I recommend sports intramurals, unless you are already committed to a major sport or activity. There is also a ton of religious organizations, but I’m in a Christian group and I regularly attend Real Life. Every quarter this is an activity fair that I recommend you to attend, it helps you find a group, activity, or club of interest.

I took five AP classes, recieved a moderately high GPA (around 3.0) and scored 1200+ on my SAT's. I got a scholarship. Due to its sheer size, OSU is not particularly selective at the moment. If you genuinely want to recieve your degree from OSU, there are very few barriers.
